Lemania has always been a powerhouse in movement manufacturing. This First series Monopusher Chronograph is a classic British military watch. Issued to the Royal Navy in the 1940’s, the case-back is marked ‘HS↑9’ which was intended for ‘Hydrographic Services’. Serialised as ‘4701’.
The well-preserved case is large, chunky and wears with presence. The single-button chronograph functions as it should, and resets back to 12 perfectly.
The ‘sterile’ dial contains the original, puffy radium plots for the hours, and has aged perfectly
