Accepted as the first automatic chronograph worn in space  (It was only in 2007 that it was established that Col. Pogue wore a 6139-6002 during the NASA Skylab 4 mission which took place in 1973.) this watch has the earlier dial stating “water 70 resist” so is more collectable.

The watch will fit up to a 7.5 inch wrist and retains its original bracelet. Supplied with the presentation box fitted the watch also benefits from a 12 month warranty certificate of authenticity and new service.
