A really interesting horological piece of history. The coin edged screw back case is a feature only now seen on Rolex watches. Hans Wilsdorf the genius behind the Rolex brand was great at marketing but he never really ” made a watch “. He was however very good ( and had a keen eye ) on buying patents which included the screw down crown and of course the coin edge screw down back ( the coin edge being the means of getting enough purchase to ensure the lead gasket would form a decent seal ) This really pretty watch was made by the Visible company and it really exudes character and quality and features solid articulated lugs , all in solid gold.

Its such a” pretty” watch and with a high quality movement its keeping good time for a vintage watch and has been priced to sell.

I have added a new Meyhofer strap which sets the watch of really well.
